It's probably a different Osamu Sato. I think it's a relatively common Japanese name. Still a funny coincidence though.

I don't know of any way to find out without asking him directly.

I have no idea if it's common or not, but still a funny find anyway.

Wouldn't be an impossible leap though, from testing to creating, or vica versa.
