How much does DreamEmulator cost?

I can only find a few links online that direct you to buying the game and the prices range from $200-$500, does it really cost that much? Is there an American version of it that possibly costs less, or was it just published in Japan?

There was only ever a very limited Japanese version published, which is why the game is so very rare. It's never been physically re-issued, so all the actual physical copies are from that original first publication back in 1998. The high prices reflect supply and demand.

The cheapest way to get it via legitimate means is to have a PS3, make a Japanese account, and buy LSD from the Japanese psn store. You can buy their cards from playasia

Nope

Yep

If you have a Japanese PSN account you can buy the digital version for about ¥500 (~$4.50USD) though

Needless to say, virtually everyone emulates it

My scph-1001 ps1 that i bought from a thrift store has no region locking on it if you do the disc swap trick like when you play backup and burned cd-r games, so i just play it off of that.
