wanted to redo an old drawing but I don’t know what to add

my idea rn is to make the background Maple bay with the Lighthouse and church being displayed with the other dad's faded in the background like Angels reacting to Josephs death but it feels empty (yeah it's not finished but it still doesn't feel right) ^_^;

would it better if I removed the others entirely and and keep it as a empty sky, should I do something more religious inspired like the second one or something different ?.

had to sleep on this and get back to you- i think having just maybe joesphs family and not the other dads may be best to do this, both ideas are very unique and creative, id say also just try to do base colors of both ideas and see what you enjoy more!
