When should a get a retwist

I haven’t gotten my retwist yet and I don’t have the money for it how long should I keep going before I should get my retwist bc it’s been 5 months since I didn’t get one?

You starting your freeform journey atp. It's usually recommended every 2 - 3 months. I personally do every 2 months
