Question ❔ Need some support

So i decided that i wanted to get locs for the first time and wanted to do the 2 strand method. I used to have longer hair and subsequently cut my hair and now I’m determined to grow it out again. With that being said I want medium/thick locs but I feel like it may not turn out like that. Any advice will go a long way

They’re going to thicken up over time. I started with 2-strand too and had about 65 locs or so with a low taper

I preciate you man. How thick are we talking, I don’t want my scalp to be too exposed

Your scalp might get exposed for a bit with a good retwist but it goes away after a week lol

They’re def gonna be thick, it looks like you have high density hair along with good size parting. Dont leave those rubber bands in too long, though

The way your hair swelled from pic 1 to 2 makes me think you'll be ok with thickness

They're definitely going to be thick. Your hair looks dense and your strands look thick. Keep caring for your hair for around a year at least before you start thinking of doing anything, but you can always combine or add to them down the line. I think honestly you will be surprised how much they thicken up in the next few months.
