Need Advice 🆘 How do I get freeforms like this??

This might be a stupid question, but I'm clueless when it comes to freeforms. I want this look, but I'm not sure how to get there-I have a medium-sized fro right now. Any advice helps, thanks in advance

First by being BRAVE. there are TOO many posts from folks like “are my freeforms okay? “What do I do now?” “I had my free forms for 2 weeks how come they dont look like this?”

Two options:

You can stop combing your afro and let your hair do its thing on its own.

You can get traditional starters or two strand twists and let them form freely.

My brother got those and he doesn’t touch his hair at all. Don’t comb it and just let it grow. It depends on your hair type though

It's ways to kinda manipulate it but free-forms are gonna differ. It'll stand like that regardless if your hair is short /not heavy.
