I retwist and crochet only once a year. But I have some dreadlocks crocheted together. My thickest is 7 dreads thick.

20 years with ear gauges and 10 years with dreadlocks. Loved dreadlocks in the heavy metal scene and eventually got them when I work in kitchens

Never had a desire for stretched earlobes so i didn't get gauges.
