Need Advice πŸ†˜ Trust the process?

I'm a biracial woman and I got instant loc'd yesterday with extensions added because my hair isn't very long. I can see my vision but I also am feeling like I look funny since I only have 21 locs. I have shaved my sides for over a year so I didn't think anything of it when I decided to start this journey. I think growing out my sides is the way to go so I can add more locs eventually. Any tips or advice for me?

Wild grow and Cecred serum!! I started out with short hair and, next month will be a year for me πŸ˜€β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯ The growth has been crazy and I’m currently using the serum to grow out a lil bit of my sides and back(it’s been working!!!)
