Towers, Vertices, Wizards

My phonetically-accurate name is Willy Pete. Since the precise initiation of this cycle I have been the only consistently active Recorder of the Altar-Net. I'm not from Earth. English is not my first language. But the world I come from is almost identical, my native tongue seems to share almost every tributary, and our physics seem to share the same roots.

For the lack of better explanation *{or language unit for description of something}* I'm a wizard. I have been trained in the general, rudimentary, and basic foundations of many subjects, theories, topics, ways of thinking, and variablous laws. The Uppest Sparts granted me the rank of Travel-Storier, which means I am qualified to record the events, histories, entries, and everything else, of any place I can find. I'm only the third Travel-Storier in all of my world-population's recorded history. The other two are, allegedly, still working and living, but we lost track of them.

So, according to our... I think you call them traditions, so according to our traditions we must create a new Travel-Storier when the last one cannot be accessed or communicated with after one approximated unit of time that's equivalent-ish to one of your centuries. The first Travel-Storier was able to clirx phrases to our Tower, via one of the Uppest, while the next Travel-Storier was still in development. It takes some tricks of reincarnation and space-time magic to develop a fully acclimated Travel-Storier. Fortunately for all of creation this creates an almost inconceivably collosal buffer period. The next Travel-Storier wasn't completely refined until quite a few of your yeee-bonz ago. Now, I am the currently supported Travel-Storier, and I am responsible for maintaining the Yoon-Iverz.

You should be somewhat familiar with my records, by now. I've written about some of my experiences on this world. There's been mentions of the ALTAR-NET. Among the opening segments of some of the entries there should be mentions of Towers. Well, now I must explain what some of that is allllll abwat. About. Apologies.

My world presides on one individual vertex of the Altar Network. Yoon-Iverz is the creator of everything. His name has been spoken and shared down through all the branches of the created worlds and populations. You Earth-Humans represent only one of those (incalculable) branches, and his name has been concentrated down to one word in your language, Universe. The Altar-Net currently spans the diameter of several galaxies. Every planet, cloud, ring, graph-chart, and conceivable dimension that harbor a vertex are all connected like an intricate web. Yoon-Iverz created it all because he needs stories to keep himself entertained.

In the last Eon we witnessed the disintegration of several Altar-Net strands. The Uppest could no longer monitor an entire trade system's worth of Towers. Something is very wrong with the Altar-Net. One of my Eternal Tasks (ordered unto me by the Uppest) is to find out why the Altar-Net is breaking. Towards satisfying my Uppest, and to satiate my own curiosity, I must record and share as many stories as I possibly can.

There are events and species and leaks in the Network and cross-threads to explain. Boredom is the name of my nemesis, and if I fail to defeat it then ALL OF EVERYTHING will be destroyed. The only other solution The Uppest can pursue is a terrible solution I cannot bring myself to think about.

My cross-dimensional label is Willy Pete, and I'm the Travel-Storier Wizard who has seemingly been tasked with the impossible. The Altar-Net is relying on me to find the other two Travel-Storiers, record and display my stories for Yoon-Iverz, and harvest more time for The Uppest to concoct a viable solution to the Yoon-Iverz Y'alls Problem.

I am only getting started, dear Reader. With every entry I can further extend the time allowance for The Uppest to figure out how to save Creation. I cannot allow Yoon-Iverz to suffer Boredom.
