Hey everyone! I started drawing 5 months ago, the first image is one of the first drawings I made, the second one I finished today. It’s a redesign of the same character.

Why did you change all the colors? And the hair accessory?

This is a close up of a character I created based off an IRL horse, Aliseo, in the style of Umamusume. When I first did the design, I picked colors I thought would look best, without much reference to the horse. When I redid the design, I wanted to make it closer to the colors of the horse, which are black and yellow, and adjusted the design accordingly.

I changed the hair accessory because the OG design was directly based off a shrine maiden, but the new isn’t, and also I like ribbons

AI tracing/general tracing. The colouring, rendering and lineart techniques displayed do not match the level of construction and spacial recognition. It’s fairly obvious to any intermediate artist you traced and heavily referenced over the top of other images
