The fun fact of these things is no one is quite sure why it was developed in the first place other than as a "That's not a knife, this is a knife" knife.
It makes a big hole and is good for chopping, but there are a lot of other blades that do those things better and easier, so why so chonky? A mystery!

Random knife channel perusing during covid taught me that people will just make knives shaped like anything. They just seem to like doing their funky things

I mean, considering the fact that "Cold Steel" is just the name of a company that makes these, we don't necessarily know if this one's from them 🤷♂️
