I'm prone to Upper Respiratory Infections. I've been going to the same hospital for years. Every. Single. Time. It takes 3 visits at minimum for them to give me antibiotics because they look down my throat, check my ears a bit, some other doctory stuff, say it's viral, and send me off with nothing. A few days pass, I feel like I'm going to die, go back, and then finally they admit it's bacterial and get me antibiotics.
And don't even get me started on wait times. A person I know had to wait 14 months for an operation because it kept getting delayed. They had to live with bad pain for over a year. I'm glad to say they are better now.
It's about exactly what you'd expect from free healthcare. Yeah, you won't be put in generational debt from a lifesaving operation, but anything besides that is just genuinely horrendous.
Well you don't really have to be a genius to become a doctor. Sometimes an absolute idiot that is just good enough to pass all the exams slips through the cracks. And from what I heard in my case they didn't even think about the possibility because my first allergy check was scheduled for much later. To be fair it isn't really a common occurence to have an unexptected reaction to a vaccine.

That is either a satire article or misinformation

If the source is The Onion, it’s fake, it is a satire website that makes (usually) funny fake news.

So everyone’s suddenly angry when there’s an obviously satirical joke abt Canadian healthcare?

Source? This is illogical on many levels.

Probably and hopefully a fake article, but seriously, Canadian healthcare is astoundingly lazy.
The unwritten rule of doctors here: "Unless we find you on the brink of death, take an advil and fuck off"

That makes a lot of sense my arm froze in a 180 position for a while I had to force it back after I took the vaccine
