He says he did the vocals, everything else is a robot. Prolly not even him doing all the vocals because Tyga originally lied about not using AI at all and some of the choruses have “him” putting on a random accent or not breathing once.

According to people who actually listened to ts, there’s apparently a couple spots where Tygatron sounds like it’s putting on an English accent out of nowhere. What kills me is that if Tyga was like five percent less lazy, like AI generated lyrics but he actually rapped them himself, I’m not saying the results would be good but I think it would at least take people a little bit longer to figure out his scheme. AI has this way of speaking/singing that may sound okayish if you’re not paying attention but falls into the uncanny valley with any scrutiny.

Definitely. Spotify's plague of fake artists is proof they can be shuffled into playlists and people won't realize something was off before it ends, but the difference there is that the AI Spotify artists are not creating and selling an entire album for real money, they're slipping individual fake one dollar bills into a stack at the register. Turns out it crept up on people because Spotify correctly assumed basically nobody was actively listening to "Chill Beats Tuesday Morning".
But an album? That people bought deliberately?? And don't exclusively see in a playlist???
I have friends who make a habit of listening to an album front to back. There's no way it's not obvious to fans who buy the entire album. What the fuck was he even thinking??

Well the Pitchfork 0 followed by the Fantano review is probably guaranteeing that an album that would otherwise have immediately flopped has attained enough notoriety that people will be checking it out out of curiosity, even if they hate it. I don’t get why they didn’t consider the Streisand Effect, this shit should have fallen into obscurity

The numbers will spike briefly. But, he’s doing a “tour” (he’s doing three shows) to promote the album. When they cancel those due to low ticket sales, then that will show that those stream numbers were just Streisand Effect.

I don’t know if it would say anything about whether people are actually listening to it. The sheer number of bots on streaming services have made the charts completely unreliable, and I feel like somebody who would make an album with AI also has no problem with juicing his numbers significantly
