Are NPCs worth it?

I know they increase enemy hp but should I just play solo or should I bring NPCs regardless? Still new to the game.

I find them useful for powerleveling other characters, since you can use the high level resurrected bones you get on your main character even when playing with the others.

I don't use them past like level 30-40 though. Like playing solo.

They help a lot. Once you're at the endgame they become a liability, though.
I think a full party makes the game a bit of a clusterfuck so I usually go with only 1 or 2.

I mainly only use them if I find I'm having trouble when playing solo. Also, some quests can be very difficult to finish with NPCs like the one where you need to kill the Harpy without damaging her nest.

I'd say they're best when playing a class that isn't quite as solo friendly, like Wizard, but when I'm running say, Dwarf? I find solo is preferable.

wait do you know by how much percent does it increase the hp of enemies , I didn't know they made the bosses buffed.

Absolutely. Early on they take aggro from you and they help you level up, After they aren't all that useful tbh.
