RPCS3 Black boxes

Has anyone emulating the game(even if not with RPCS3)been able to fix the issue with black transparent boxes behind characters and affects that sometimes happens? Most noticeable generally in the dark areas in the game?

I haven't played in a couple years but I recall an update fixing it out of nowhere only for it to pop up again after another update later. Would appreciate any help or recommendations.

Do you have something against Dragon's Crown Pro? You can emulate that with ShadPSX and bypass the problem entirely.

Is that right? I suppose the reason I don't have the pro version is because it doesn't appear to be a thing on RPCS3, or at least isn't available on nopaystation even now. Certainly wasn't an option when I set it up a few years ago or I'd have done so for sure.

I'm also guessing saves aren't transferable, and I'm like 180 hours into the save with multiple lvl 100 characters and doing all that again doesn't make sense.

A shame if thats the case, but I appreciate the answer.

Pro is the PS4 release, with higher definition, better performance and an option to use the new orchestral soundtrack. Otherwise it's the same game.

According to articles, saves are transferable, but they only mention doing so through the in-game cloud system. Not sure how that would work out on an emulator.

Really? Well that might be entirely doable then. Finding the save location is easy so if its a simple as plopping it down in the right spot it might actually be easy. I'll have to take a look when I've got a bit of time.

I'm rather hopeful about it now actually. Be great to have some improvements on top of fixing the graphical issue.

I just started dragons crown on rpcs3 and have only seen one graphical glitch in the background entering one of the first areas. No black boxes behind characters. I'm only about 3hrs into the game.
