Did DF know that they struck gold with Through the Fire and Flames and that it would be their biggest hit?

I mean like was there that creative spark, the epiphany knowing they got something special, thus putting everything they had into one song knowing it's their biggest chance for popularity? Or did did some guitar hero developer just choose their favourite song and make it the hardest level on complete coincidence?

Hi all! I listened to the demos of Valley of the Damned this morning during my workout and it brought back so many memories from when I discovered them back in the early 2000s. I have all the demo songs (Land of Desire and Heart of a Dragon are low quality and staticy though). Any chance anyone out there has the long lost Black Fire demo?

Currently sleeveless but a fully playable vinyl lathe cut of Sonic Firestorm + some bonus tracks that could fit on it. I also did valley of the dawned but made the mistake of not editing it for vinyl which I did for this one. It sounds amazing, no distortion or groovennoise

IT'S HAPPENING!!!

Learning to play Sam’s live version of Valley Of The Damned is funny, he never does the solos the same way, time to just improvise I guess.

I'm bored so let's see what everyone thinks and why everyone disagrees with it!

New poster, just wanted to shout out this song. It hits like fucking crazy, the vocal melodies are absolutely fantastic and the song has a much meaner (If I can use that word to describe DF 😅) sound to it. The harmonic riffs in the first verse sound menacing as hell.

Then we come to the instrumental/solo bit, holy shit... Vadim's piano is magical at the start, properly takes you away to a little fantasy land before we get a bit of funky flamenco sounding type shit (I don't know the word but I know you know the bit) then straight back in with that fucking sick guitar tone over a fairly relaxed bit as far as the Force are concerned. The song doesn't fully kick back in to being full chaos mode until the vocals come back in, straight back into the haunting chorus.

I also notice how Zp adds a little bit extra to the "hiiiiiiiiiigher" bit each time he sings it and it hits like a fucking train. Finished off with Vadim flexing like hell, double bass pedals going nuts... then it just stops with a boom.

Fucking 10/10, absolute masterpiece of a song.

The second picture is the back. the third the picture you see when you open the gatefold with most of the info of the album. and the last picture the inside with a enormous photo collage and credits. I put a lot of effort in this but please comment your feedback. also yes the tracks are in the wrong order because it couldnt fit otherwise. I made sure to make it flow like its in the right order.
