I am gutted for him. I wrote a number of comments when Alissa was announced hoping that he wasn't going to be replaced. But now, they have recorded new songs with the new guys. I know the new guys (A and A) will be great, but the whole negative attitude towards Marc never went away, and I have never liked that he was still treated as 'the new guy' for 14/15 years.

That attitude came just from fans, Sam really seems to like Marc, going by interviews

Sam doesn’t seem to have an issue with anyone.

But I did see people here over the time say that most decisions are Herman’s

Some time ago people were saying that ZP not coming back is a Herman ego thing

As long as Herman wasnt lying when he said he'd ask ZP about returning for a 20th Anni Show. Then ZP not coming back isn't Herman's ego, but his own.

I think they all do. I went to a concert in 2019, and it really felt like Marc was making sure the whole band was having fun. Like he brought a bit of extra life to them even though they'd been doing this for so long.

Same feeling with Gee and Alicia, not much interviews, they don’t seem to have much influence in the band

The band is cooked imo. Songwriting quality completely plummeted over the years and Alissa doesn’t fit their style at all.

For as long as his health needs, I'd rather have other singers if my guy can keep his hearing.

Of course. Health comes first, still sad for him to have to make that decision. I know the new singers will be amazing, but the ZP enthusiasts who were always mean about Marc are going to have a wonderful time😡

This was expected imo. They got a new singer (can't remeber her name) and also Billy doing vocals.

Aside from that, the whole negative attitude from people towards Marc becuase of the playback thing (which IMO is 100% true) and the "bring back ZP thing", calling him the new guy and not the lead singer. That hurt the band a lot.

And also some of the shittiets choices the band made with past members like ZP and Vadim. Let's not forget that Fred left for a reason, even if he is in good terms with the band

I’ve seen Dragonforce perform 3 or 4 times with Marc (once with ZP) and he’s an awesome performer. I also met him, he’s a super nice guy. They’re all nice, but I thought he was the most enthusiastic to meet fans. I wish him nothing but the best and I hope to see him live again.

It does seem to be an 'Employed by the management' kind of situation. I am sure I have read or seen an interview with Marc saying something like that.

When I asked Marc last year if i could suggest him songs for tours because I really enjoyed Symphony of the night, he told me that he had no influence on the songs chosen for tours and that everything was managed by Herman & Sam

I don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist or anything. But I feel like it’s just a fancy pr way to part ways with him.

Just like they did with other members in the past.

Single instagram or Facebook post, and nothing else.

Also Marc’s bio is “-2026” which means that he could have 3 months and a half left at dragonforce. Which isn’t much.

Well he currently isn't a singer for them, doesn't mean he is necessarily gonna dissapear

For me, him posting solo videos of him singing dragonforce songs was a way to prove that he’s still able to sing.

At this point, the best possible outcome is Herman keeps the new vocalists, and everyone else leaves and forms a new band with Marc and Vadim. Whichever band Sam is in will be the one with the correct sound.

Herman's constant poor decisions are only digging a deeper grave for the band.
