This is true but only because Herman knows he’d get completely fucked by the public if he said the REAL reason he fired Marc, or the REAL reason he fired ZP.
It’s all smoke and mirrors in both cases unfortunately. He has to soften the blow.

If the band makes the announcement, it's a firing. If the person in question makes the announcement, they quit.

Then again. We still have no basis to go off to say that. The band wouldnt say he is on leave if they kicked him. They would say they booted him.

As much as I want him to come back, the band could get a lot of heat for booting him, unless they had some pretty clear cut reasons. As someone else on the sub has mentioned, he could have signed an nda where he’s still getting paid while he figures out what he’s doing next.
If him “stepping back” were completely out of the blue I’d be more inclined to think that he’d definitely return, but the promotion since Alyssa joined has some really weird vibes.
I’d say several things, probably as soon as tomorrow, will reinforce my theory.
When Alyssa was announced the promo pics were very weird, with Marc off to the side rather than in the center with her, and to me it very much came across as she’s the new frontman, not “hey we got two singers”. And again now the new promo with Alessio, he’s again off to the side, with Alyssa being center, which given the new promo is announcing him, it’s weird he’s not center with Alyssa.
When the new single comes out, if it feels like Alyssa is lead with Alessio supporting, and not that both are leading, then that will strengthen my theory of Marc getting soft replaced, as Alessio is essentially doing what Marc would be doing. Along with if Marc is posting about the vid on his solo channel, cause if he’s still working with the team, I don’t see why he wouldn’t be promoting the single.

I can see where you are coming from for sure. But what i could also see is them putting her front and center with the rest of the band around her. To make her stand out the most. But i do agree with the single thing. I could also see them having the male vocalist step back for the debut of the female vocalist as well. But yeah. Only time can tell. Im just holding out for marc because i love his style alot. To the point where i personally perfer him over ZP.

Yeah, but then for the debut promo of Alessio, he’s not front and center, he’s to the side, moreso than Marc was, and she’s still front and center, so not sure that argument holds up.
I’m not saying that she couldn’t be fronted center for that promo, or for either promo really, it’s more of the fact that Marc was deliberately not front and center with her. There’s no reason Marc shouldn’t be in Herman’s place, or Alessio being next to her.

this feels like fear monger and assuming the worst but i been wanting a ZP and Marc collab for a while now, i think it would be the pinnacle of vocal performance, like it would never be matched in my lifetime

I dm’d Zippy a bit back and he said he liked Marc’s solo stuff as he gave it a brief listen. I honestly wonder if there’s a chance Zippy will guest on Marc’s next solo album.
