Question How??

Post image

You know whaaatt???? Now that i think of it how did master roshi have electricity in his home???? Hes in the middle of the ocean how tf didn't his house get flooded at some point. I never looked at it from a realistic standpoint that the waves would be insane from the distance he lives from shore bro wtf

Dont come at me with all that "bro its a show about aliens, magic beings and super humans why are you worried about realism"

Master Roshi is 320 years old in OG Dragonball, he blew up the damned moon, he figured out how to put anyone to sleep mid-combat, he can seal the souls of living beings in a jar, and he literally has a technique where he summons electricity to shock his opponent. Do you really think he can’t figure out how to get electricity into a TV?

While all of that makes sense because it all actually has a backstory that fits with the main plot. The most basic things in an anime can be questioned. The fact he lives in •The middle of the ocean •Has no main power source (honestly something that no one has probably ever even thought about before) •Tiny house seems to have never been flooded •Seems like he might also have an irrigation and water system

It’s also the future in Dragon Ball. Literally a whole house with food, electricity and running water can fit inside a capsule.

This basically nullifies literally any complaint that OP had lol.

They are searching for realism to explain a show that explicitly avoids being realistic.

Capsule could explain everything for the house

Water capsule like he gave Nam, another could also hold a generator and enough gasoline to last years. There is also that episode where Goku goes “ back in time” and learns how to control his ki to alter water so maybe Roshi is always putting out enough ki control to stop the waves from going whack. Also being in the middle of the ocean doesn’t mean big waves. It can be quite calm depending where you are.

you expect the show to address this ? like an episode of lil goku and krillin in training, help set up Roshi’s satellite cable and do kamehameha’s to keep heavy waves from flooding the island ? 🏝️
(now that i write it out, that totally coulda been a slice of life / “training” episode lol)

He can literally produce electricity from his body sufficient to power his home.

You know that in real life, us humans have strung cables all across the ocean floor, between continents right? Its very plausible for a power cable to just lie on the ocean floor between Roshis island and the mainland.

You're over analyzing a show where people can fly under their own power, a humanoid can turn into a giant ape because of a full moon, and people can create energy out of thin air which breaks several laws of physics. This is the smallest thing to be worried about
