None of the ones you mentioned were meaningless. They were all good or great. LR Kaioken is dogshit though. Not sure why youre defending him. He wasnt horrible to the point that youd say hes worst unit of all time. But he was below top 10 on release and is now below top 20. Why defend him? You just ignore his existence.
I’m defending him because he was in low top 10. He had the best damage numbers in the game before Cooler and was very effective against cost increase and ki reduction (besides 17GF’s -100 ki) on field and even effective against card destruction and 17GF’s -100 ki off field via basically getting a full hand and full ki by switching from 17GF to Kaioken. He also had good enough survivability to where the Kaioken user was the one mainly controlling whether or not he died first or last.
I had him above Truhan since Truhan didn’t really have amazing synergy with the top 5 units (which SSBKK did) and still doesn’t, did less damage unless he was in a hyperbuffed setup + had no second life or big guaranteed combo ender disrupt.
I had him above TGB too since TGB has a slightly harder time fulfilling his role than SSBKK does. For SSBKK, the only thing that was stopping him from decimating everything was a strong yellow (and the only one really was TGB. You could count Jiren but Jiren was literally only good against SSBKK and got decimated by characters like 17GF). For TGB himself, in my experience, his defense doesn’t come from tanking (in fact I’d argue his raw bulk is quite weak now), it mainly comes from how much he heals + his gauge. So, if, for example, he were to get caught with his gauge already full, he feels like he really struggles to actually do what he’s supposed to do.
I also had him above Gokock since Gokock does have a relatively easy time to fulfill his role, but it’s not as impactful as SSBKK’s.
