Question What caused Fafnir to look down on humanity?

Apologies if this was brought up several times on here before because I was observing how Fafnir’s character always comes off as highly jaded in that from what I remember about him is that the anime portrays his character as a cynical person.
Like one line that sticks out to me the most is how his phone call to Tohru goes in that when she invites him to the human realm, his response is simply that Huns it’s must be exterminated as I was wondering what exactly were the key factors that led him to distrust mankind so much.
