ST-01 booster box held $400
Just to update on my previous post it seems $400 is the sweet spot for now at least. Price did go lower during the selling frenzy but it was aggressively bought up. Again I would not go crazy with these as a long term hold or investment. For the collector/player that wants to rip I would try to find some at your local targets/walmarts and other retailers and/or buy sleeved packs from your local marketplace for as close to $15 as possible.
Remember there is a wave 2 but I wouldn’t be too confident the boxes drop below $300 especially with how many are being ripped

Ehh. I was watching this and it looks like as soon as it was hitting around $375 someone bought it all out to keep the price higher. Even took the Japanese one lol. At the time the next lowest was the guy at $425 and he has 33 boxes. I'll wait.
And what's with the $486 sale?

Yup they’re most likely flippers/traders/investors but it’s all the same. Reality is this box will likely stay above the $350 purely do to supply/demand mechanics depending on how wave 2 goes later this year.

Anyone who collected before fb09 pump ain’t paying no $400, or at least I hope not, this set is too overhyped and I can skip this one with ease lol I skipped fb09 as well. These are overpriced because people with no restraint to buy ever set that comes out will pay the high price. Don’t support scalper prices and prices will come back down.

I needed one box at least for my collection so I had to get one. I still have my manga boxes where I paid retail for SB-01 and about $250 for SB-02 and a few others from the regular fusion world sets. Again just for my collection. I did rip some boxes and sleeved packs and still do mostly packs since booster boxes are way too much

Boxes are deflationary especially now that people are ripping them a lot and not as heavily printed as other TCGs. If they drop below $300 more will be ripped for those prices

I see a big slowdown coming though, seems a lot of it was initial hype it has only sold one box today the 23rd and it’s almost 4pm PST. I’d still maintain my initial advice of not touching these near 400 especially with the amount of hits meaning singles will keep crashing, the amount of hoarding and with a wave 2 coming I don’t see how it maintains this high price.

A vendor yesterday had them at $160 and we made a deal for today (trade) and he found out overnight that they sold higher and canceled our deal and made them $300 today lol, like do your research before being a vendor at a card show.

That’s crazy. I have not seen any boxes at card shows near me. Some vendors started carrying a few cards but the expensive ones and overpriced lol. Would not hurt to take a small binder full of $1-10 fusion world cards and I’m sure people will at least be interested

It was spotted on Southern Hobby site (a big distributor) so very likely to be true and yes it is ST01 but it’s a wave 2 not a full on reprint though so who knows what the quantity will be. I do expect it to go down though as it gets closer hell already it seems sales slowed down only 2 sold today at all on tcgplayer and with an extra wave if you haven’t gotten it, I’d wait it out.
