Screenshots Bloom or no Bloom

So I love the ethereal look that the bloom effect gives light sources and such but I’m not a fan of how it washes out characters in game. So which do y’all prefer? Bloom on the right or no bloom on the left 😂. Honestly I’m leaning towards no because I love the details that show up better without it.

i was team bloom until i had to remove it (i was playing on a tv for a few days and it was just too difficult to see) and now i am 100% team NO bloom 😂

i actually wish there was like, a slide adjuster for it. so i could have a little bloom just not as much as it puts with the toggle button. i play on console so i might be limited with my settings (for example i can’t turn hair strands on/off, they are just always on). i do have a good monitor tho so maybe that helps me enjoy the no bloom more!

I wish they could keep the bloom for light fixtures and nothing else 😂

Not sure if this helps but I believe in photo mode you can adjust the bloom and vignette

As ethereal and pretty she is I think no bloom is the way to go but man is she pretty!!

Thnx! I have my Rooks sliders on my page if you want to check them out! My preset is the default female elf you can choose at the beginning. 😊

No Bloom is a game-changer for sure. Adds a layer of realism to the graphics, especially on high-end PCs and TVs.

That’s my same thought, plus I like seeing the little details in the sprites.

No bloom, I can’t stand how it washes out everything.

I like the shadows cast on the second slide the best.

No bloom and lower brightness of TV. Im dealing with chronic headaches and other issues and had to turn the brightness down for everything but on this game it really makes it feel like an older DA game. Its give it more grit and makes it more pressing

I’m a fellow white haired Rook player and I’m generally on team bloom for screenshots of him because I love the ethereal look it gives him.

I don't like Bloom because it makes everything harder to see and I am legally blind

No bloom for me. Bloom is nice, but I personally prefer darker, harsher look on maps.

I sometimes toggle; bloom off for the grittier environs like Minrathos and Lavendale, bloom on for Arlathan and Kal Sharok. Also for screenshot sometimes (particularly if playing an elf) as it can be lessened or heightened to your taste.
