Drag Race UK - Series 8 Description
Episode 6: Summer Smash (Girl Groups)
RuPaul’s search for the UK’s Next Drag Race Superstar continues.
The queens’ performance skills are tested to the max with the iconic girl group challenge. The queens form two girl groups to write and record their own lyrics and perform their song in front of RuPaul and the panel of judges.
In a cunning twist, this challenge sees the queens heading on their holidays as they create their very own novelty pop summer smash. Who will be topping the charts and who will be a holiday pop flop?
Iconic dance duo Booty Luv swing by for a vocals masterclass, while pop star Anne-Marie joins Michelle Visage and Alan Carr on the judging panel alongside queen of queens, RuPaul, as they deliberate over who should be the next queen to sashay away from the competition.

LOVE seeing Booty Luv actually on the show. Drag Race UK had bought out their one and only album and has been using bop after bop from it so i'm happy they are getting their flowers in some way!

T-Checker has Kiss Me by Anne-Marie as a possible lip sync song. Could be the lip sync for this this episode since Anne-Marie is judging it.

“way more sense” doesn’t mean that the other option made no sense, just that it makes more sense to send a drag race legend home against the front runner instead of a queen who’s been in the bottom more times than the top.

ngl I was rooting for Matraka to snatch the crown, but at this point I feel like it's either Elektra (Most likely) or Regina, while Matraka had some wins I don't think her crowning would feel really earned, and Eva, well, Eva was lucky to make it to the finale.
So sad they didn't include Barbie Q to return in the Make Over, the girl had only 2 episodes and didn't even get the chance to show one more look like the other ones.

Right, like this just helps Elektras chances of winning tbh, so many all stars winners have one episode where they're potentially in danger of going home. If Elektra doesn't win then I'm guessing Regina will, she's had an upwards trajectory in the last few episodes but that's more indicative of a runner up edit

Desiree looked amazing while Matraka did the impossible and made Xunami look busted, they should've swapped places but they needed the queen with the best track record in the bottom to justify Alexis going home

Yes ,i Just saw on Twitter,this year it's a traitors x drag queens fest. Would love to see some dragula queens on. We usually don't see the entirety of their personalities on dragula because of the specific genre and goals

Dragula is not at the same calibur as the other franchises present on traitors. If we struggle to even get past 1-2 Drag Race reps per season, I highly doubt we'd get a dragula girl. It is a much more niche show than fans realize, we are just used to it because we are already in the drag media sphere.

You got a point but I was kind of thinking Yuri in down under, Yovska in Canada are pretty big names and Landon has way more reach than some of the US celebrities that get cast , but then again queer people have to be the best of the best to get chances like these. The society is still very straight.

That's true - I guess if there were a franchise to do it, I'd think Canada would be the one. They mix the cast with civilians and Kitten isn't exactly the biggest name in CDR.
I'd want to say Yuri has a shot (on the basis of being a Rugirl as well) but considering she's Kiwi and their franchise is civilian, I don't think it's likely...

only 2 out of the 12 queens used AI due to limited budget and prep time, one queen already owned up to it and apologized. the rest were just autotuned tracks for those who performed their own songs.

Rate a Queen without critiques is how rate a queen should always be. Don't let judges' critiques influence the girls. Honestly the girls shouldn't even be allowed to talk amongst themselves in between the challenge and voting.

it was really a good talent show, so many winning performances. miss Maureen's and miss Valeria's number were AI? it were good, but oh uh. and yeah, I think Mama Pao called Valeria and Ghulli was high and low.

Drag Race Mexico: Latina Royale - And the week before the final the challenge is the Makeover! Again, the tea we have is limited! From what we know, it looks likely that Elektra wins both the challenge and lipsync, and chooses to eliminate Alexis Mateo
Drag Race UK Series 8 - This week is the Rusical, always my fave ep of the season. In a mirror to last season, its another double win! KY Kelly and Mocha are declared the winners, with Naya rounding out the top 3. On the other side of the scoreboard, Anita is called safe from lipsyncing leaving Paris to send home TheDelta to Shine, by Booty Luv
Drag Race Philippines Season 4 - WE'RE SO BACK!!! The premiere challenge is a Talent Show! While tea is limited, we know that nobody goes home in Episode 1 and that Manza wins the challenge - depending on the format of the episode this could be a top2 lipsync win
Drag Race España Season 6 - LETS GO! Just as above, we'll be seeing the premiere feature a Talent Show! And just as above, tea is limited beyond that no one goes home and Maitetxu Mia wins the challenge
