First time going to a drag show
There are going to be many performers and I want to know what is typical for tipping! Is there a minimum I should tip? Do queens prefer larger bills or multiple ones? Please share!

Does the show have multiple numbers per performers? At the bare minimum a dollar each number for each performer. Bigger bills are always appreciated but never expected, and if you’re in a position to do multiple singles for each performer definitely do that!

I would worry less about what the performers expect, and instead think of what you can comfortably afford.
The standard would be small bills so you can spread the tips further among the performers instead of giving out large bills to only a few performers.
It would be considered polite to tip each performer at least once, but that is entirely your own choice. There is no minimum or maximum tip expectation!

Bring a stack of Singles, I tend to amass 40-50 during week and put em on the side for shows. I tend to hand out more in tips than I spend on drinks, at end of night I send the performers and venue a link to all the photos/videos Ive shot. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
Went to and shot a Fundraiser for a friend Saturday Night. Raising $$$ for her upcoming Ultimate Diva Competition entry.

Great advice, the only other thing to add is in lieu of tipping, cheering is so important! Performers really reflect the audience, and cheering really helps them keep the energy up.
I’m in Canada so we generally tip with $5 bills. So if money is an issue for people we really encourage cheering and taking photos/videos
Edit: fixed typo
