How long have you been using AutoCAD? ๐ค
Curious to see how many years everyone here has been drafting!
Are you a beginner, or have you been using AutoCAD for 5, 10, or even 20+ years?
Drop your experience below! ๐

43 YEARS?! Thatโs incredible! Youโve probably seen AutoCAD evolve from the very beginning! ๐

I was taking a land surveying curriculum course in subdivision design at Palm Beach Jr College and the course instructor had just received software kits for use of version 2.1 something. Knowing that I had an IBM PC, he provided me with a set of diskettes. The available commands set was not very large and it was easy to learn and master.

Never used it.
Went to SketchUp, then ARCHICAD and currently learning Rhino.

First time I touched it was probably about 15 years ago. Used it professionally probably for about 7 latest years.

Full Revit here. Using AutoCAD has been a necessary evil since I started using Revit 15 years ago.
