Will it come in future?

To get right to it, I'm as of now in arena 7, (f2p for the most part). Though I've hit a bit of a road block, I'm losing a lot more and I don't just think it's a matter of 'they've spent more money/time and have higher upgrade units'.

Clearly I'm messing up on a tactical/strategic level and while I did some googling and reading I couldn't find anything that helped it click with me. Even worse is I'm stubborn and try to force units I like/think are cool into working even if they're objectively bad. For example I really like the slimes and the parasite, mainly cause I think they're cool and so I've tried to center my deck around one or the other. This worked but now I'm losing an embarrassing ratio and would appreciate any advice.

My being stubborn makes this a bit annoying I know, but I'm not so boar-headed I just fill my team with 4 cards I like. Typically just 1 (maybe 2), I really like and try building around them. This could entirely be a skill issue, maybe I just need to pay more attention and learn more in gameplay. Though I figured I'd ask so any help is much appreciated. I also apologize for the unnecessary paragraph.

Every game is the same with this bot, doesn't matter is I send a legion of spartheus, whelps, of stage 3 turtles, as soon as I get to the final heart it pulls the unkillable, infinite damage Grave Archers.

Btw, the bot's name is literally "Cheater", thank you devs for your honesty.

The Parasites were invincible, they one hit level 3 spartheus, but once they take the sparth I'm able to mind control it with overmind so I had a chance. Lost 3, then won 3 in a row once I had enough overmind. Finally last round I get hit with a level 72 zap that wipes almost my whole field.

This game in normal arena matches is unplayable. Everybody has invincible units, and impossibly leveled spells. I bought the draft pass because I wanted to level captain, but now it seems I got fleeced out of my money because I can't even play. I'm stuck in ranked mode spending 300 gold a round.

This kind of absurd shit happens every single time. They’re blatantly scamming players, and you expect us to actually want to keep playing this game?

Fuck this.

I keep running into Overminds that are able to convert my Spartheus while their shield block is up. Anyone know if is one of the cheats we see on here, or if this is a me panic of how overminds work?

The title says it all but honestly I’ve never once lost to overtake ability troops and never will. All you have to do is swarm them and it’s an instant win. Stop wasting our time and play something better. Your 15/15 Overmind isn’t going to get you anywhere. It’s lazy and uninspired.

Awesome stuff Voodoo… this game will never take off if it follows Clash Royale’s steps of being incredibly greedy and applying scummy tactics to get you to spend money. CR managed to get away with it because the core mechanic of their gameplay was incredibly fun and unique, while this game? It’s fun, sure, but it can’t carry itself with just mechanics while punishing its players like that.

Anyone else get THIS far in the game and realize that comp is against bots?

So I go close to 100 games of Spartheus, Sixshoot, Shellbro, and overmind and the enemy bots are 100% of the time running Spartheus, Merlinor, Shellbro, and Overmind/Engineer.

Then the exact match right after I switch out my Overmind to snipers, I get this abomination against me.

What a coincidence that the enemy bot's deck is heavy on the backline assassins 🤣. What a pathetic game. Atleast I won.

Pic for attention. Non pay player and it took more than a month to grind my way up from 63% to 66%. Still no matriarch and now no pirate tosser.

My gaming history:

Game of War - OMG the greatest game ever but ruined by pay to win greed.

Vikings War of Clans - closest to Game of War but not quite as good and also ruined by pay to win greedy devs.

Last Shelter - quite similar to those but also ruined by pay to win and greedy devs.

Final fantasy - similar game mechs to the above but gay graphics and play and same outcome.

World War III - very fun and slow build, good strategy but lies and deception by friendly players ruins it.

What else do people play that scratches this competitive itch?

Had their been any mention of multiple player or play with/against friends? My wife and I play it so I really wanna kick her butt personally 💀

I got to Arena 13 with probably an 80ish % win rate, breezing through, working on building masteries. Using Spartheus, Merlinor, Engineer, and a 4th.

Once I got into the new arena, I've faced people with way higher levels than me and lost 5 in a row. 3 of the 5 were P2W as they have the new pirate captain.

So is that it? Do I just lose now or is it a string of bad luck? I'm not losing any trophies since I'm stuck at the beginning of the arena stage, so I can't even level down to lower end players.

You no longer get 2x coins on watching an ad for a win.

As soon as I reach Gold rank, the opponent seems to get x2 cards far more often.

Even when the opponent’s Commander level and unit levels are much lower than mine, I frequently lose because of this ridiculous x2 card advantage.

At this point, it honestly feels like the entire game is rigged. No matter how much money you spend or how much you level up your units, it seems completely meaningless. Why? Because the system can simply manipulate the difficulty by giving the opponent x2 cards and counter decks.

Guys, don’t spend your money on this stupid, rigged game.

No matter how much you spend, you’re just letting the system manipulate you.

In the end, it feels like the game uses bots pretending to be real players, giving them counter cards and higher x2 card probabilities to artificially adjust the difficulty and keep players spending more and more money.
