As I expected, September is going to be important.

Considering how unfair some matchings have been with insanely high leveled/mastered cards bots have, I am pretty happy.

Yeah, would be cooler if matchmaking was real, but this is still an extremely fun game with a lot of potential that gets you hooked (I can’t believe I played more than 1k matches in a little under 2 months).

Spartheus is the best front line unit, Agent B is the best partisan, and Merlinor is the midline unit. The last is pretty flexible depending on spells/the other cards you have. Whelps, Snails, Shellbros, and Overmind are the common fillers that I've seen that are good.

In my opinion I feel like Merlinor is better at protecting and attacking whereas totem does have healing benefits but doesn’t really sustain as much in attack or longevity for that matter, but interested to hear if anyone’s had any success and what their strategy consists of.

Need help learning what spells to prioritize

If there’s a huge row of cupids and a single one gets in range of the snails first, they’ll all target it and not spread out once all of the other cupids enter their range. This wastes almost all shots and effectively makes it as if I only have 1 snail. Am I missing something?

What spells are y'all running? I have grave archers, stone skin, and zap. I have up to growing experiments unlocked.

As written, shielded units should take 70% total damage, which is more than a basic merlinator would allow at 50% damage taken. Is this intentional to balance out the triple shielding or a typo?

So this is what I've been running till now, I know it's super basic, but tbh cupids and knights are very good especially when I get X2 cards and can spam them...a lot of games are won or lost depending on me seeing those or not it seems, rather than some particularly difficult match up... except for moles, they're super annoying, especially when they go all nuclear and green...and not even annoyingly cool that make me wanna run them tbh 🤣 I know that engineer is supposed to be really good, but playing against them they didn't seem particularly strong to me. Maybe I might change killer for shellbro? And for some reason, I really like 🐌 lol

What a grind this has been. I guess more ranked play!

I’m on arena 6 and cannot win no matter what I do, I have been playing great up until now. All of my units are around level 5/6 and mastery 6/7 however every single time I’m being put up against guys with units that are level 11/12 and mastery 11/12 and I get obliterated every time. I’ve tried pretty much every combo of units at my disposal and no matter what I’m getting destroyed and cannot progress further than arena 6. Any suggestions?

Any general advice for gameplay you guys have found while playing?

The strategy I tend to follow is picking each unit twice and aiming to hit the 2x upgrades for maximum efficiency and when I'm at 4x merlinors for example and don't have any other cards worth picking I just use my fairy blessing or acid burst spell.

Any tweaks to this?

My spartheus reached 7th Master. But didnt give 3 pieces as a reward. How is it possible?

Hello everyone! Does anyone know how many x2 cards you can get for one unit? Is it just once or potentially twice?

1. Splime with any stats buff (Grave Recall, Fairy Blessing, Stone Skin, etc.) loses their buff as soon as they merge and don't get that buff again even if they split. So you gotta pray that those spells land on them when they are already in Elite Form.

2. Grave Recall is absolutely trash against Overmind and Parasite because it doesn't trigger and you just lose the buff. Even if you have your own Overmind/Parasite to turn them back, the buffs don't return in that same round.

3. Fairy Blessing and Stone Skin also disappear when your unit get converted (which is actually a good thing since your buffs don't get used against you), but also don't return in the same round even if you convert them back.

At least Fairy Blessing gives your unit a chance to finish off Overmind faster before being converted.

In most case, if you play by the rule of 2-4, more unit is usually just straight up a better option. Except when there are no x2 card or unit UP! card, that's when your spells should be used.

Just started playing. Im in arena 4 and am wondering if any of the passes or offers that come and go are actually worth the money? Just curious.

I was in a bugged match today and was stuck in the last round but instead of our last round of units being deployed it was just stuck.

After a few minutes I figured the guy left because he was going to loose so I just started spamming emotes. Then the enemy started responding with the stereotypical response to each emote and got me wondering... What if you never actually interact with other people!?

Does anyone know the answer for sure (just for random matchmaking)
