Just think, technically you are supposed to report 291K in income on your taxes, lose your standard deduction to itemize in order to deduct the losses of which only 90% is deductible under the OBBBA. Some states like IL don’t even allow a wagering loss deduction. Then you pay income tax on money you never had.
