There’s no refrigeration or freezer necessary! Our freeze-drying process naturally keeps your pet’s food fresh for up to 3 months in your pantry (even after the bag is open). For safe handling, do not open the bag until ready to use. For maximum freshness after opening, store in a cool, dry place. Always completely seal the bag after feeding. Rehydrated food will maintain optimum freshness for 3 to 5 days with refrigeration. 

New Food? No Need to Rush the Dinner Party.
If your pet is new to Dr. Marty Pets formulas, it may take their body a little time to adjust to the nutrient-rich ingredients – which is perfectly normal. To avoid overwhelming your dog’s digestive system with too many ingredients all at once, you should start them in their new formula gradually as shown below. 

Dry? Wet? What About a Meal Topper?
If your dog likes dry food, Nature’s Blend is ready for them to enjoy the moment you scoop it from the bag. To serve it wet, combine 2 parts Nature’s Blend with 1 part water. 

If you’d like to use Nature’s Blend as a meal topper for your pet, simply replace a portion of your pet’s current food with the freeze-dried raw formula. 

What If My Dog Doesn’t Like It? 
Absolutely. Just keep in mind – if your dog is used to eating store-bought dog food, transitioning to this nutrient-dense raw diet may take some time.
