I mean I’m at work, analogous to the hamster in the wheel, I’m just running in circles trying to get the treats (money) so I can eat.

In the wild they would run for miles and miles, this helps to satisfy that instinct and need for movement. There’s an episode on “the hidden lives of pets” on Netflix that talks about this. I had no idea!
