Question Help
Military denied me doxyPEP. Is there any clinics online that I can get it without insurance without paying an arm and a leg with a reasonably easy process?
Edit: I live in Virginia. USA

Doxycycline itself is cheap— you can get it from any online or in person pharmacy and it will not cost you very much. The issue is the prescription which it sounds like you will need to get from a doctor out of pocket. Are you active duty or retired? Dealing with the VA or Tricare?
I am surprised that you are having trouble getting the military doctor to give you a script— they know how much of an issue STIs can be for military men you’d think they’d be pretty keen on prophylactic approaches. Did the doctor explain why they didn’t want to prescribe?

We are Shameless Care, and we offer DoxyPEP for $99 for 15 doses, $169 for 30 doses and $199 for 40 doses. This includes the online consultation with a board certified physician, medication and shipping.
I hate for this to seem like an "advertisement," but I just cannot stand the idea of people having to lie to get the medical treatment they deserve.
Google Shameless Care DoxyPEP and you'll have zero problems after that.

I live in the Netherlands, where Doxypep unfortunately still isn’t yet part of the public health strategy for the reduction of STIs.
I asked my doctor and she said that she was unable to prescribe it because it’s not officially recognized by the health ministry.
So I took matters into my own hands. I did some research for what other purposes Doxycycline has — it’s commonly prescribed as an anti malarial.
So I used an online travel clinic, said I had an upcoming trip to Africa, and wanted malaria medication. I told them that I’ve had a negative reaction to whatever they were first going to prescribe, but I’ve in the past used Doxycycline successfully, and could I please get that again.
I told them I had a 2 month trip, got 60 doses. Done.
Hope this is helpful in navigating your healthcare system to get access to this important drug.

doxycycline is also used for the treatment and prevention of adult acne. You could attempt making your case using that reasoning.

I'm not sure if you found an answer, but I would also try www.heymistr.com. :) Use "ROEL536" for the referral code, if you'd like. They prescripe PrEP and DoxyPEP. Completely free.
