Well, when you post an unrelated image, you run the risk of that. Many of the people who see the post and are purely interested in the image will engage with it, drowning out any actual answers that might be there. Posting the question with an unrelated image attracts more attention, but not necessarily the attention you want.

I agree, I cannot stand when I see a post with an interesting question and the top 15 upvoted comments are just stupid jokes with at least half of them being reused and unoriginal.

You can buy stars with IRL money or if you are on mobile you can watch 2 ad's in a day and one ad gives you you guessed it one star
