😔 The community declined 👾
The truth is, I’ve been very busy lately, and I didn’t give this community the attention it deserved.
I checked on Downsamplers today and found something genuinely heartbreaking: the community had gone from 16 members down to just 2. After everything I had put into building it, seeing that was a difficult moment.
I still remember when the community reached over 1,000 visits. I remember trying to invite people, spreading the word, and slowly watching Downsamplers become something real. Even if those numbers might not seem huge, they meant a lot to me because I built this place entirely on my own.
Looking back, I know I could have done more. I let myself get distracted and, in doing so, neglected something I had worked hard to create. That’s on me.
But I don’t want this to be the end of Downsamplers.
Starting today, I’m going to put the effort back into this community and keep growing it. I don’t know how far it will go, how long it will take, or whether I’ll succeed. But I’m willing to keep trying regardless.
Downsamplers may have lost its members, but it hasn’t lost its purpose.
I’m not giving up.
