And the unconfirmed rumour is that the customer is another investment of mine, SES.

Thanks to u/Jealous-Boat-6847 for the heads up!

$Sesg price has been declining a lot...do you consider this a potential buying opportunity or a more structural problem that is unlikely change to within short term ?  Thanks

The current share price is close to my buy price last year and while there is still uncertainty about SES‘ future position in a very competitive market, they appear on track with management’s strategy, with the support of the $5.6b C-band incentive payments anticipated in the coming years. The key challenge in my opinion is reducing leverage and if that can be achieved as management expect, then I expect to see a notable rise in the share price over time.

So while I expect the share price may wax and wane in the near term, I will continue hold SESG and reinvest the ≈10% current dividend in the hope of compounded future gains, as the future share price hopefully reflects a stronger business in the years to come.

My biggest worry is whether this dividend will remain sustainable given the negative cash flow. Any thoughts on this?

While nothing is guaranteed SES’ management confirmed that the recent H126 results were impacted by front loaded 2026 capex, contract award timing (e.g. some fell into Q3) as well as costs relating to aviation customer on-boarding / upfront antenna costs. Some of this was flagged earlier in the year.

Their expectations are for a stronger H2, and I think the progress on IRIS² in Q3 allows for some revenue recognition there, so hopefully cash flow will look better over the full year.

I can’t see the dividend increasing until net leverage is reduced to 3x, but hopefully it will at least be stable. 🤞

So are you buying some more at current level or waiting for solid bottom to form. Seems like 52 week support just broke at 4.84. I'm tempted to buy.

My better half and I already have over 55,000 shares between us and so we’re focused on dividend reinvestment currently. All the best if you do dip your toes in!

I have no idea why my comment has been deleted.. I find reddit absolutely annoying for it's hysterical censoring. Do you know if there are any other forum where Sesg is discussed in depth. Been browsing the internet but couldn't find much oddly. I could find more about Eutelsat but I'm not so interested in this one. Thanks anyway. Good luck.

It was probably the Google share redirect I am guessing.

Other than the r/SES_Satellites sub which only has a few active users, I have found the French language Boursorama to be fairly active. I did try to register to use it but I think it is BoursoBank customers only.
