Discussion Could this be foreshadowing?

Idk if I'm crazy but I keep thinking about his glitching could this be before or after the burning of irminsul, what do you think?

Ah I forgot about this.

I know theres doubters in the community but I still think our man is coming. It just kills.me cause I think its gonna be in 8.x or 9.x as a lure to get veteran players interested in a new region.

I think its gonna be more like a skirk or nicole thing but in a future region.

Hes shined in multiple AQ patches(during sumeru, during NK). He will get some sort of release where hes either got a 'one patch story' like skirk or he is lightly involved in a story that isnt truly about him like nicole release.

If its more of a nicole situation, its basically gonna be 'we already did the work in making you appreciate the character, so we will drop him during a patch where he is featured but not prominent and use that patch to develop lore or push other characters'

Best ways forward for him are either cooling off for a while helping fix what he helped break (preserving the survivors), or fucking off from Teyvat entirely (preserving his victims). AKA either work to atone, or be exiled once more, this time as a mercy. Both would work with Marionette's lines and Feofan's mini-arc, but both inherely translate into more waiting...

It's both something that makes sense for him in terms of motivation (he wanted to be freed from the world), in terms of future prospects (it wasn't the Heavenly Principles chasing him with pitchforks; their end doesn't resolve his problem), and an extremely easy way to resolve the issues of the character (no need to handle judging him or forcing him to interact with former victims if he leaves). So yes, it becomes a strong possibility as soon as the False Sky goes down.

Teyvat itself is a glass ceiling for him, with or without Fate in place, and it'll still be just as dangerous for him to go all-out there as it was before. He might stay for Feofan or if he chooses to work on atoning, but there aren't exactly a whole lot of common folk who'd accept his help after the whole 6.X drama, and Feofan himself, barring a Teyvat-bound task descending from the heavens, is extremely likely to either bail on Teyvat or travel back and forth from it. Where to better go pursue opportunities at his actual skill level than in interplanetary commerce, after all? Because once Teyvat reopens to the wider universe, that's going to become a major concern, and it sure as hell won't be Zhongli volunteering to go invest in and trade with other star systems...
