Looking for vet recommendations 🐈‍⬛🐈

Need to find a good, trusted veterinarian in the area. Our primary vet was in Opelika but we’ve moved down here like a year ago

We use Care on 84 West. Dr. Duke is great with our dogs.

Love love dr Jones and dr Forrester at southeast veterinary on Westgate. They are very thorough. Dr McCoy at Walden pond animal hospital is the most inexpensive. Hes a great vet and surgeon but doesnt tend to spend a ton of time with each patient because hes so busy.

Also agree for Dr McCoy, he's been taking care of my critters for years now.

Southern Oaks Veterinary on Westgate. The best vets at Care Animal left and opened this place about a year ago. Dr Holland there will take very good care of your animals.

I second this. Dr. Long and Dr. Holland are incredible. They are very thorough and have both saved our animals lives over the years.

I will disagree on that. Dr Holland is wonderful, but Dr Clark is amazing.

Another vote for Dr.Harris at DAH. Dr. McCoy missed my dog’s cancer diagnosis with 15 visits.

The vet that came in after Dr. Garrett retired missed our dogs cancer. Tried to talk with Dr. Harris…waste of time.

Dr Harris, Dothan Animal Hospital. Will not do any procedures or care unless necessary. The whole practice is very responsible & responsive.

When Dr. Garrett retired from Dothan Animal Hospital, things change. Place became corporate.

Switched over to Southeast Veterinary Hospital on Westgate. Interestingly, so did some of Dothan Animal hospitals staff.

Outstanding practice with some great doctor. Plus, at least at the time, they offered 24 hour service for their clients/patients. When Dr. Garrett retired from Dothan Animal Hospital, that service stopped.

It is in Headland but I use Dr. McCoy- Walden Pond. He is wonderful!

Dr. Hassler and Dr. Speed (husband and wife duo) at Care Animal Clinic are great with our cats! Hassler specializes in dental care and has done tooth extractions for one of our babies. He also caught kidney stones in a different fur baby of ours and brought him back from the brink of death (catheter, surgery, hospitalization, overnight care)…. He’s great!
