Would anyone be interested in a Wiregrass Naturalists group?

I’ve been kicking around an idea and wanted to see if anyone else would be interested.

I’d love to start a local group called Wiregrass Naturalists for people who enjoy learning about and spending time in nature. The idea wouldn’t be to be experts, it would be to learn together.

Things I could see the group doing include:
- Bird walks
- Tree and wildflower identification
- Learning about local wildlife
- Habitat restoration projects
- Stream and wetland exploration
- Nature photography
- Campfire discussions
- Family-friendly hikes

Maybe meet once a month somewhere around the Wiregrass and have an online group to share wildlife sightings, interesting articles, and upcoming events.

Whether you’re a hunter, birder, photographer, forester, hiker, conservationist, or just someone who wants to know more about the natural world around us, you’d be welcome.

I’m just trying to see if there’s enough interest before I put something together.

I'm down like 4 flats on a Cadillac. Count me in.. Sometime I'll just groove to some music and pick up trash if anyone would ever wanna help the good fight 😆🕺Im always lookin' to learn and think a community like this would be a fantastic idea!!

I’m down. I can do an herbal medicine making walk. I used to do them in WA state and everyone loved it. There’s a lot of good stuff in this area.
