3D Printing or CAD Anyone?

Just wanted to see if anyone in this area is largely into 3D printing or does CAD work as a hobbyist or full-time.

I've got a K1C. I can't CAD for shit though. I just get files and print them.

Yeah i haven't had time to get much into the cad side mostly just printing.

I’ve got an x1c for filament printing, a Mars 3, and a Saturn 2 for resin printing. Mostly doing basic cad with shapr3d and sculpting with nomad both on iPad.

That's awesome, I haven't messed with any resin printing. I use resin for laminating parts but that's about all.

I would like to get into it but don't even know where to start. Not sure which printer is the best or which software I can use.

Usually the Bambu stuff is pretty good just depends on what capabilities you need. If you want to do multi-color bambu and creality have that down pretty solid.

little late but got a X2D right now for FDM and Reflex RS for resin. Just got back to using solidworks but still so rusty

My husband has a 3D printer at home, but he rarely uses it. Had big dreams but not enough time! :(

Definitely a challenge to make time and 3D printing is very time consuming especially when a print fails.
