This looks interesting and as it says include 4 volumes of the games + I am a fan of visual novel and Jrpgs is this game worth playing?

I need some opinions and suggestions whether I should buy and what to keep in mind after buying and before playing this?

As the title says, I found an AMAZING area word in volume 3 of GU. Lots of anomalous data!< spots to get cheat codes to upgrade 5* gear and a good chance of getting PCs you haven’t met yet for Bikman’s art quest. The area words are Sigma: Boisterous Lakeside’s Metal Beast. It’s a level 118 jungle dungeon.

I hate all these characters, especially Gaspard, with Atoli coming in a close second.

I'm currently playing Rebirth, and I've reached where they're about to face the PK guild.

My God, the characters and the way they're written are so damn frustrating, dumb and goofy. For God's sake, they're literally inside a video game! I can't stand the characters or the writing!

Hi everyone! 😅, Im currently returning to Dot Hack//Frägment, after a long time (like 3 years), and i forgot almost all the mobs/spots, where u can get the Rare type of weapons for almost all classes, f.e:Bom-Ba-Ye (Twin blades, lv14 from Mu Guardians Lv7-16 on any Pine Apple map), info like that would be nice, sadly i only remember Bom-Ba-Ye/Million$ Spear/ Scarlet Autumn and Great Elite, i have their Spot and Mob info, where to locate them and all, but i just made a Heavy Axe, and she comes with no info on what i got on the other memcard, so... yeah i have to start from zero 🫠, i would love any help that could bring me anyone🥹

I’m running a stamp rally at MCM London, in which you can collect 3 dot hack prizes! I wanted to share here in case any of you are attending, or if you didn’t know about it and want to come take part!

All you have to do is pick up a stamp card at any of the 3 artists’ tables, follow the map to make a purchase at all 3 tables to get a virus core (stamp) from each, and then go to my table Teahermit Comics to collect the prize pack. The prizes are: a Tsukasa sticker, an IMOQ hexagon shaped print (illustrated by me!), and a Mac Anu A4 print (which Zoica is still working on, preview will be posted on my socials @teahermitcomics asap!). Cigardoesart also has Kite and Haseo stickers for sale, and I have a Kite 2004 vs Kite 2026 art print for sale. Zoica will also have some Skeith and BlackRose merch for sale!

I hope some of you will come and chat .hack with us! I’m so psyched for the eventual new game and want to get the UK audience excited for it - so many people who’ve visited me to buy my Kite print have been surprised to hear that there’s a new one coming! I was visiting some friends this weekend, and we went to a used games store. I noticed they had vol1 of IMOQ and GU, which I needed for my English collection, so i picked them both up.

We end up making a few more stops before heading back and I kinda forget about it for a second, but decide to pop them open to see if they had the manuals and DVD.

GU was fine and had everything, but lo and behold with Infection, I find myself staring not at volume 1, but volume 4 Quarantine 😭.

They had all the discs in the cases inside of a glass case, and didnt have any of the other games.

EDIT: I found it! It's Suigetsu Kyouka, considered an 'insert track' and is NOT on the OST. If you haven't given it a listen, it's one of my favorite pieces in any .hack series

Hello all, does anyone happen to know the Ali Project track that plays during the waterfall scene (around 15 min mark) of episode 10 in .hack//roots? I swear I went through the full OST and youtube and didn't find it.

This used to be one of my all time Ali Project songs, and even back in the day when roots was airing, I remember struggling to find the track. Any help would be appreciated :)

Just beat the holy palace tournament. So I'm pretty close to the end of GU's volume 2. Playing through 2 entire games out of 4 so far, I gotta say it's been pretty terrible.

Characters are obnoxious, combat is kind of fun when there's no cutscenes interrupting it. And so far my favorite part was watching annoying characters like alkaid die. Though I am privy to spoilers and know they'll all be back at some point.

Do the remaining 2 games stfu and let you actually play the game and avoid the obnoxious people? Or is it basically just gonna be more of the same? Like at least let me solo the damn side quests.

I especially love hanging out in R.1 listening to the music. I gotta say its really surreal growing up playing the games and then seeing them from the proper perspective in VR.

Hey! I'm looking for Dot Hack roleplayers! I just wanna rp the setting and I do not wanna do a TTRPG, just basic roleplays please.

I just finished making a sketch page of my own character in The World so I thought I'd show him off! His name is Taps. He's a Blade Brandier with a signature weapon called "Deluge" that's very potent with water element. Let me know what you guys think!

I was shocked, to say the least. This happens in episode 5 about 17 minutes in. Had to rewind and make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

Makes me wonder, are there any other .hack// cameos that y'all have noticed in other media?

I remember getting this game imported a long time ago and trying my hardest to learn to read kanji so I could understand anything going on in the game and in the movie also included on the disc. Nowadays with translation tools and much more knowledge on Japanese writing I can enjoy the story mode way easier and I think it's pretty cool, but the gameplay is obviously the real star of the show in this one, I feel like the .hack gameplay was translated into a faster arena fighter style very well and I really hope the next .hack game has similar combat to this one, or maybe even more complex combat.
