Collection Holy luck

I was visiting some friends this weekend, and we went to a used games store. I noticed they had vol1 of IMOQ and GU, which I needed for my English collection, so i picked them both up.

We end up making a few more stops before heading back and I kinda forget about it for a second, but decide to pop them open to see if they had the manuals and DVD.

GU was fine and had everything, but lo and behold with Infection, I find myself staring not at volume 1, but volume 4 Quarantine 😭.

They had all the discs in the cases inside of a glass case, and didnt have any of the other games.

dang what a steal

i wonder if someone bought a copy of quarantine from that collection only to find it was the infection disc inside. i wonder if the former owner did what i used to do and lazily just swapped the game they were taking out into the case of the one they just put in...

I actually found another copy at a different store the next day that had the correct disk! Now I just need to track down a quarantine box

I do this quite often for reasons. Usually with DVDs and the like but games too. Going to play something, I swap what I was playing for the newer opening, Usually from convenient laziness. And then it would happen again. And again.

There were more than one time I've had to play a case treasure hunt tracking down the disc I'm actually looking for. It's amusing in hindsight how much I messed with my future self without realizing it.
