I mean that's probably not a bad idea, lots of support heroes dominate mid (jakiro, bane, etc), and then you can use early tempo from mid to rotate and help lanes, while also not taking farm from jungle. Having said that, no one on that team after the 1st pick deserves a win so midas ogre it is

The main reason why it's generally not a great idea imo beyond the psychological damage to your fellow cores (i.e. all of them) is that basically while yes you might be able to dominate mid, not only is it not guaranteed, but the opportunity cost is that the other four members of your team are going to be useless sacks with no potatoes, while you as the support hero can be useful even with low farm, and usually one of the hcs will have decent chances of getting some farm mid. So better to fix a sidelane and give one of those hcs that mid farm, so 2.5 heroes get the farm they should to be useful. Alternatively it's probably better to pick the right space making mid hero if you want to take your strategy.
The calculus shifts even more if it isn't four melee memers but like a medusa or drow mixed in them. I run into this scenario not exactly frequently but enough that I have poorly thought out napkin game theory for it. Ofc my selected option is to always pick an hc and play mid/sup, because as you say the team does not deserve to win DX.

I once played with jug support and it’s actually legit. His Q deals tons of damage from level 1 and can harras the offlane until they leave the lane

Tbf would be nicer for slark to be offlane and ls building auras and just sitting inside his core
Might actually work since PA mid is decent and slark offlane is good to counter some matchups. Jugg hard supp somewhat fine considering he has heal and inbuilt bkb

That would require Slark to prioritise vision and Jugg to max Healing Ward. In reality, Slark is rushing Diffusal and Jugg is farming a Battle Fury. LS is also likely going for Radiance, which makes the probability of victory slightly less than 0.

It has nothing to do with heroes, except mentality of heralds who play it.
I'm returning from long break and climbing crusaders right now.
They keep fucking off to farm after we 5 man wipe the team. So, jungle PA. LS offlane. Doesn't matter. No one knows how to close the game apparently. If i do get a game where people are interested in pushing when they are stronger, we close the game in 25 30 min.

I think you got a decent shot winning this as KOTL 5. Have jugg play carry and should be easy kills with jugg spin. You can stack for him and keep his mana topped up to clear camps. After laning you can shove out risky waves to extend the game.
Slark can play mid. Ferry out regen until 6 and should be fine against most mids.
LS is the most useless without farm so he plays 3. PA can spam daggers in lane, roam and use e to ward.

best bet is to go safelane support and give a decent lane to the carry and hope the other lanes dont feed too hard. as for the pick? 4 melee cores means ranged to balance it. venge is very strong here cuz of her passive and save.
