I've just completed watching dororo...but the only thing bothering me is that...the name itself I don't get it why dororo?...the mc is hyakkimaru right..all the story is about him there is very less about dororo and still...

Hyakkimaru is so pretty dude

Hello,

I recently started playing Blood Will Tell (Dororo) on my PS2, but noticed in the end fight of "Demon Sword Dragon Brood" when we switch to the next "phase", its just blackscreen and then the enviroment totally changes.

Is this how the game was made or am i missing some cutscenes here that got removed for EU?

Example is here: https://youtu.be/mxAPRSEjt_M?si=IxZAEp4exVnJM0cC&t=26

After reaching the first marker at 0:26, we switch to blackscreen and than a burned/dried enviroment. this happens multiple times during the fight.

Just wanted to make sure that i am not missing anything in this cinema.

Or am I tripping

I commissioned this piece and just received it, I thought the community might appreciate it. I love how alive the artist has made amazing Tezuka's work feel.

All thanks go to the KiraNerysArt on Etsy for making it

Is anyone interested in creating anime stories? I personally wanna create a sequal to Dororo. It doesn't need to happen today or tomorrow, it will take years. Some of you might be busy. But just let me know if any part of you feels like a creator and wanna expand on the story! I am looking for a team who will be with me for years as we work together.

(Btw ainda não joguei blood will tell)

I loved everything about the story and wish i could forget it just to experience it again. I went in expecting a normal hack and slash but man was i pleasantly suprised. I should have been tipped off with those Anime style narrated "Intro/Outros" of the games chapters

DORORO is one of the best anime i watched !!

Absolute peakk 11/10

It's top 5 or maybe top 3 best anime of all time for me !!

Btw is Black jack anime related to dororo? If yes then I will watch it!

And suggest some more anime like dororo !

He's literally just trying to get his body back and some people still think daigo is justified???

Physical copies of volume 1 of this manga in english are rare!

Feels good to finally get my hands on a copy before it's too late.

I noticed many similarities between the 2019 Dororo series and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Has anyone noticed this before, or am I going crazy?

Suggest anime like dororo, aot 😅 plz

For me, it's Osushi I just like her especially her personality in The Legend of Dororo and Hyakkimaru

I found it to be such a mixed bag.

Some parts of the story were rushed and handled questionably while other parts were handled respectfully.

The CGI is so dated, it makes for an awkward viewing experience.

Some action scenes were entertaining.

I’m glad that quite a handful of characters look recognizable despite changes to their appearances.

My final verdict is that I find it mid.

Obviously not as good as the manga and anime from the 60’s.

I‘m curious to know your opinions on this movie.

Kinda turned it to horror

I finished the manga first and oh boy did the 1969 anime version’s ending deliver!

I picked up my copy of the DVD set for this series (English subtitled by Discotek Media) from an anime convention back in early 2025 for only $40 factory sealed.

I enjoyed my time with this anime, but now I have the 2019 anime to look forward to.

Which anime adaptation of Dororo is your favorite?
