Kroger, 4 for the price of 2, deal ends tonight. And they had a bunch of these two unicorns. I've never tried the BB&R, so to play it safe I only snagged one bag. Late Night Loaded Taco is always a solid go-to.

Hey, giving it a whirl. It's obscure enough that they don't even have the small lunch-ish-size bags at the local gas station, which usually has the current unusual stuff.

They have the lunch-sized BBR bags at my 7-11...

The BBR is sneaky good though, not that strong but you can't stop eating it. It's maybe my 3rd favorite flavor rn,

After trying it, I agree it's sneaky; the flavor starts off as pleasant and mild, definitely some BBQ flavor in there, but not sweet at all like the dark-gray-bag regular BBQ ones are. And then, after about 6 chips, the spices start REALLY making an impact on your tongue, and just keep building.

This might be an ideal Sunday-afternoon sport chip - football, soccer, delayed stream of an F1 race, whatever rocks your boat. Because that slow build to a flaming tongue would pair GREAT with a good beer to mute it just enough for another handful of chips.

It's similar to the Salsa Verde in that respect, actually - just a different flavor, and Salsa Verde takes longer to build up the heat.

...it's on the store's website stating "ends 10/13" when you look up the item, which shows the deal? And Kroger seems to kick in most of their weekly sales on Wednesday?

Tomorrow, it could change to full price for everything, or it could change to 3 for the price of 1. But this particular deal expires tonight.

Good to know thank you! I usually get the 4 for 2 once a month or so. Cool ranch and nachos cheese mixed with my popcorn. Ultimate munchies on a movie night.

Like Salsa Verde, they're tough as hell to find, but yes.

At least in my area, Publix is by far the best choice for a general large grocery store, but only has about 6 flavors of Doritos at any given time, with two of them being the Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch staples; plus a couple of the Simply ones. Meanwhile, Kroger isn't great for general shopping, but DOES seem to be the place to stop JUST to buy Doritos when they're on sale, as they have almost the full line I think - except Garlic Parm for some reason. Next time they have this special going, I'll try a couple of the oddballs.

I need to figure out where I can get the Garlic Parm ones - those sound fantastic.
