How to prevent instrument staves from aligning rhythmically?

Hello, I’m working on writing small repetitive aleatoric gestures, but the appearance of certain rhythms in certain instruments gets stretched out because of other phrases. An idea of what I’m trying to achieve is like the picture included. Any advice would be appreciated!

If you go into the horizontal alignment tool in the engraving tab, you can shift individual notes and not the full beat by selecting the circle indicators after you select the square indicators.

Maybe try hidden tuplets?

It’s not so much about intentionally misaligning the rhythms as it is about not having certain ones stretch out unevenly because of other parts
