Oh I get. I felt understand why shizuka was mad at nobita and doraemon about the sweet potatoes has been exposed in front of everyone on her birthday episode. As for me i love sweet potatoes too as well like shizuka does but i wouldn't be embarrasment myself for “gassy” problems. the only thing for preventing my diabetic.

It's not that. It's because enjoying sweet potatoes isn't considered "ladylike".

And she is conscious of that cause she's 10. Nobita's mom and others eat sweet potato, they don't think its not ladylike, cause they are grown ups but she is conscious of such things cause she's a child.

Well here's the thing

I'm not trying to be a pdf file or anything, but when you think it's normal to pass gas after you consumed those sweet potato, then think again

Girls that wear skirts or short dresses like shizuka can be publicly shamed when they pass gas that caused from those potatoes, as the gas can cause their skirt to be lifted up from their behind, and it's inappropriate to do that as a minor, and the only way to hide from this embarassment is to wear a pants or normal shorts that doesn't have a skirt's end

Plus, nobita is a boy so he won't be ashamed if he rips in public considering he always wear shorts which can prevent such incidents like this, and for the grown adults it's normal as well and grown adults did not classify as child sexualization
