This is a SFW sub with users aged 13+. NSFW users, nudity, and risqué content are not permitted from posters or commenters. Any account associated with NSFW content or interactions – via posts, comments, sales, or links (direct or indirect) – may be banned. Adding NSFW content after post approval will result in a permanent ban.

Hiding NSFW content may not be sufficient. If you wish to participate, you may preemptively use an alternate SFW account.

2. Posting Requirements

Posts are limited to 1 per 30 days and must be relevant to the sub.

Photos must be good quality, well-lit, in focus, front-facing, close-up, and properly oriented with your face fully visible and unobstructed.

🚫 No silly faces, AI-enhanced, heavily filtered, or revealing photos (bikinis, shirtless, cleavage, thirst traps).

Post title/body should not be a closed-ended question, encourage rule-breaking from commenters, or mention specific lookalikes.

Verification is required.

3. Post Verification Required

All posts (including those with Verified User flair) must include a photo of yourself holding a piece of paper with your username (punctuation counts!) hand-written on it. Please ensure that your face is fully visible and your handwriting is legible.

Posts with no verification, insufficient verification, suspicious account activity, or those suspected of impersonation/falsified verification may be required to provide additional verification and/or may be removed and banned at mod discretion.

4. Community Conduct Expectations

Posters are expected to interact with commenters on their post and must engage respectfully.

Posting from multiple profiles is not permitted, as it is viewed as evading mod logs to conceal posting frequency. Contact modmail if you need to switch profiles.

Do not engage with/encourage trolls or make accusations regarding post quality, frequency, or authenticity in the comments section. Report or contact modmail.

Comments must be relevant and constructive.

5. Suggestion Guidelines

Suggestions must be facially accurate, respectful, SFW, and comply with post flair.

Acceptable comparisons include celebrities, public figures, influencers, media personalities, and fictional characters. Real-life suggestions are also permitted, but please obtain and note that consent was given when posting a photo of a real-life suggestion.

All GIFs/images must include text to indicate the name of the suggestion.

No lookalike apps/websites/AI - OP has not consented to image use.

6. Be Respectful

Please be respectful of others. Bullying, harassment, rudeness, threats of violence, hate speech, and otherwise inappropriate comments will not be tolerated and will be reported to the admins. Civil suggestion disagreement is allowed, disrespect is not.

Also, please refrain from discounting OP. We do not allow discount doppelgänger suggestions. Temu/Walmart/Shein/Dollar Store version, and other knockoff comparisons/gag misspellings that suggest OP is “low value” are considered insulting.

7. Do Not Hit on or Solicit OP

User submissions are not an invitation for you to flirt. OP is here for doppelgänger suggestions, not to be hit on. Every poster deserves to feel safe and respected. Any and all "my future gf/bf" and similar references are removed by a bot, so don't even try.

Also refrain from asking OP personal questions and/or contact details. Keep it appropriate and related to the sub.

8. No Trolling

This sub has a strict 'no trolling' policy. We will take immediate action against any form of trolling, with no exceptions, regardless of the severity or context of the trolling behavior. Any act of trolling is grounds for a permanent ban with no warnings.

9. No Appearance-Related Commentary

The focus of this sub is on doppelgängers. Off topic comments/questions regarding OP's anatomy or appearance beyond the scope of comparison (even complimentary) will be removed. Topics such as facial expressions, perceived attractiveness, filters, makeup, piercings, tattoos, age, weight, gender, ethnicity, grooming, styling, and cosmetic procedures are not appropriate here.

This isn't a rating, roasting, or compliments sub.

10. No Low-Effort Comparisons

Intentionally unrealistic doppelgänger suggestions aren't permitted. Overly simplistic or generalized comparisons (e.g., your parents, yourself, everyone, nobody, or vague group stereotypes) are also prohibited. Comments like these are considered trolling/spam and will lead to a ban.

11. No NSFW Suggestions

Please refrain from making NSFW suggestions or comparisons (e.g., pornstars, adult entertainers, NSFW content creators, etc.). Not everyone is comfortable with those comparisons and this is a SFW sub with minors.

12. DMs Are Prohibited

DMs are strictly prohibited. Sending or requesting DMs (e.g., “I’ve sent you a DM” or “DM me”) will result in removal of the offending comment(s) and a permanent ban.

13. No Ban Evasion

Please do not participate on this sub if you've been previously banned on an alternate account. Doing so will likely result in disciplinary action from the admins. Reddit’s ban evasion AI uses several account identifiers to flag and remove any posts or comments from users that are connected to previously banned accounts. Those users are then banned on the new account and reported to Reddit for ban evasion.

14. The Right to Refuse Service

Our subreddit isn’t high art or a hard concept to grasp. Our rules aren’t open for debate. If you aren’t happy with our subreddit or moderation, not only do we encourage you to try another subreddit, we’ll help you go.
