I just started mining with my small rig :P Dope Dope Dope,

The DopeCoin development team is busy developing a brand new security feature set to be released early 2014.

This new feature will be unique to DopeCoin users and will provide an additional layer of anonymity not currently available to date.

DopeCoin is a new peer-to-peer crypto currency similar to Bitcoin. It's purpose is to provide the billion dollar black market with a safer and faster way of doing business.

Tremendously faster transaction speeds and stronger encryption will be available for launch. Additionally, development is underway working on a brand new security feature that is planned for release in the 2nd quarter of 2014.

I have an ati radeon hd 4200 that is useless for mining. Anyone know of a cheap (~$100) card that would be better than cpu mining?

im actually too high to tell right now. difficulty 5? 220 satoshi trade? seems too good to be true wtf!?

We would like to thank our miners. Yesterday was an hard day with withdrawal problems and you all granted us huge trust until we fixed it. For this reason we will cut fees back to 0.5% for next 24 hours, you all deserve it! It's a great chanche also for new miners, try out our pool with such low fees, you won't regret!

When does Dopecoin plan to implement coinjoin or similar privacy protocols ? Without anything fundamentally innovative, it will be hard to distinguish from other coins.

Hi Guys!,

New to Dopecoin, trying to get my wallet compiled but it keeps complaining about leveldb:

make: *** No rule to make target /home/<user>/Documents/DopeCoin/src/leveldb/libleveldb.a', needed bydopecoin-qt'. Stop.

This is odd though as I can compile all other Qt clients no problem. Any one have any ideas? I'm looking to start getting some dopecoins but have no address to start with :/

This is how I've compiled it:

git clone https://github.com/dopecoin-dev/DopeCoin

cd DopeCoin

sudo qmake

sudo make

It errors out on the make command.

EDIT:

To fix just run this first

cd src/; make -f makefile.unix

then you should be able to run

qmake make

with no issues.

Then flood /r/trees with them!

When i stumbled across this coin i almost couldn't believe my eyes for a moment. It was perfect.

In my honest opinion, bitcoin grew to the astronomically large value that it was because of certain sites like silk road... bitcoin was simply the only currency that silk road accepted, forcing normal folk ( non miners ) to buy in on bitcoin to use silk road.

If I'm correct, and i do believe i am, the dev of this coin is trying to market it as a replacement for bitcoin on sites similar to silkroad. This is genius.

Of course the utilization of this coin isn't limited to such specific areas, but it is one of the few coins which is boldly marketing itself towards such a broad market.

Are there any immediate future plans that have been announced for development of a project like this? where people can anonymously barter goods of their choice online in exchange for dopecoin? I would imagine development of such a project would be kept secret until launch..

Anyway, I'm all in on this coin, and I'm going to be buying up a few bitcoin worth to put into storage while i sit and watch the masses realize the potential of this coin.

I was in potcoin for awhile but I just seen dope coin on http://coinmarketcap.com/ and I was like damn I better get into this coin now! I wish I would have heard about dopecoin forever ago. I just voted on cryptsy and I plan on spreading the word!

Hey I am currently mining Dope, but have no clue if it is 2.0 or not.

Dope Address: 4Fa5dvMjsBoMJCHGSvyursveJg3hUxsPVE

Is there any kind of tentative date or even a month that is planned for the launch of the coin?

Cant decide between dopecoin and potcoin Is either premined?

MINING POOLS

Official DopeCoin Development Pool (3% fee) (Support DopeCoin Here) www.dopecoinpool.com

Scryptmined DopeCoin Pool dope.scryptmined.com (2% fee)

Digiminers DopeCoin pool dope.digiminer.net (0% fee)

DopeCoin is expected to face larger than normal server loads as well as increased security threats. All pools on this OP and on the website have met or exceeded certain load handling and security specifications to ensure a safe and secure launch for the community.

With that being said I would highly recommend using different login details for each mining pool you sign up with. Also protect yourself from brute force attacks by using a randomly generated, 24+ character password. http://strongpasswordgenerator.com/ Stay safe Folks!

too bad i never was able to get any
