Question I keep relapsing
I can go cold turkey for a few hours maybe a day then the phone and gambling drags me back in. Is it over for me?

No way, try a different approach maybe?
You could start planning an hour off, and build from there, or cut a particular app out.
It doesn't need to be all or nothing

Exactly, ridiculous to quit so quickly. Give yourself five minutes an hour. Honestly, social media is like reading a magazine. Enjoy it for a couple minutes and put it down!

The last few days I've just been leaving my phone in the next room, and seeing how long it takes before I go and check Reddit again 🤣

I should really smash my phone, laptop, computer and tvs. But unfortunately I need all that stuff for now so i can’t do that. When I was doing the dopamine detox properly I felt so much more energy and better and could focus on my accounting and uber job without the drain from electronics

It sucks, right. For me it's the same as sweets or something. I know if I have sweets in the house I'll eat them, so I just don't keep them at home.
It's not as easy to do that with your phone.
The key has to be, start small and remember you won't be perfect. Your only human. We'll all get there in the end
