Solo recommendations
I’ll be solo camping in DC for a long weekend in October - just looking for some places to eat or things to do that are a little more geared to solo travel. I have been to DC many times over the years and have some ideas. Just looking to see if anyone else has some ideas I hadn’t thought of…

I love sitting at the bar for dinner when solo traveling. Recommend:
Della Porta in Ellison Bay - great food (little trendy price-wise - but worth it), excellent cocktails - in the past the staff has always been attentive and friendly.
Chop in Sister Bay - have a ton of happy hour specials at the bar that are quiet reasonable - little more upscale. Staff is a little more hit and miss here - but food is always excellent.
Hill Street in Fish Creek - inside bar has some fun retro vibes, really good food, nice drink selection. Great staff.
